K D Hospital was established on 14th April 1996 by Dr. Kuldeep Singh Arora MBBS Gold Medalist, ECFMG.with the sole purpose of providing tertiary care treatment to the people of Amritsar and its surrounding area at very nominal charges. The aim of the hospital was to provide state of the art facilities in the city which were practically non existent at that time. It was started as a medical, surgical and Gynaecology center, soon it became famous for its laparoscopic surgery, paediatric surgery and Infertility treatment . In july 2002 we introduced Neurosurgery at K.D.hospital. With the introduction of Neurosurgery there was quantum jump in the field of health care. Right now it has become the top most Neurosurgical / Neurology and Paediatric center in addition to ultra modern I.C.U., C.C.U., N.I.C.U., P.I.C.U. and Stroke I.C.U., we have latest treatment for diabetes, heart diseases and diseases of liver.It has a very well established general and laparoscopic surgery department.

K.D. Hospital was started as a 35 bedded hospital and till October 2008 it was under the sole proprietorship of Dr. Kuldeep Singh Arora.In October 2008 Dr. Kuldeep Singh formed a private limited company under the name of K.D Ganesha Hospital Pvt. Ltd. And ownership of the hospital passed on to the company with Dr. Kuldeep Singh Arora as its CEO. Today it is 80 bedded hospital . Expansion is still going on and very soon it will become more than 100 bedded hospital with 5 specialized major OTs . This is a hospital with a healing touch and its motto is "whosoever comes here Goes back Happy , Healthy and Satisfied."
